2nd European laboratory of research of acting connected to principles of rituals under artistic direction of Prof. Dr. Jurij Alschitz Ger/ RU. Residency took place in may 2014 at international artist space Schloss Brölin in collaboration with 15 European actors and directors.
facing aspects of the actor’s transition through methods of rituals
The ritual has been investigated considering artistic aspects and rules. Our research of using principles of rituals to perform a scene or develop a monologue to create a transformation in the actor’s structure is part of long-time research of Dr. Alschitz. Featured by European-Mexican Masterprogramme “The new face of acting teachers” of“The World Theatre Training Library / Laboratory” (WTTL) . Co-financed through European Commission and Art Programme “Culture”.
